Away meet at Pleasant Valley in Chantilly.

Parking PV has a small parking lot. Once full, families are advised to use surrounding streets by the pool to park.

Arrivals  All visiting team swimmers, spectators, volunteers, team reps, coaches, and officials should enter and depart the pool area through the large gate on the left of main entrance of the pool.

Visiting Team Area The visiting team area will be on PV's sport court. To the right when you enter the gate. They recommend bringing tents, as team areas can be sunny. They recommend bringing chairs and blankets for additional seating. Also, sunscreen & bug spray.

Arrival and Departure All visiting team swimmers, spectators, volunteers, team reps, coaches, and officials shall enter and depart the pool area through the large gate facing the pool.

Volunteer Checkin Meet volunteers are requested to check in. The check in table is directly in front of you as you enter the pool deck. 

Visiting Team Area The visiting team area will be in the grassy area to the right when you enter the gate. Long Branch recommends bringing tents, as team areas can be sunny. Long Branch recommends bringing chairs and blankets for additional seating.  Also bring sunscreen & bug spray.

Concessions Long Branch has full concessions, including various breakfast items, fruit, and other food and drinks. Our concessions are cash and credit.

ORDER OF EVENTS: free, back, breast, fly

TEAM AREA: Your team area will be on deck, in the corner on the elementary school side. Please tell your swimmers to bring their portable chairs. We will have greeters there to direct your team to their area. 

CONCESSIONS: Will have a concession stand open before and during the meet for your families to get dinner, a quick snack or cold drink. We plan to have hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza, along with plenty of snacks, candy and drinks.

Time Trials is an unofficial meet that will allow swimmers to get their initial times in events for the season. We also use Time Trials as an opportunity for new officials to get experience working meets.  To better ensure we wrap up on time this year, the Time Trials schedule will begin 30 minutes earlier than typical meets, at 8:30 AM. Setup and warmups also start earlier.

7:00 AM: Begin pool and deck setup (Adults and older Vikings—if you can arrive early and help with setup, please do. Many hands make light work!)

7:40 AM: Swimmers arrive

7:50 AM: Swimmer warm-ups

8:00 AM: Referee briefing for Stroke and Turn Judges

8:10 AM: Chief timer briefing with Lane Timers

8:30 AM: National anthem / meet begins
